Missing review

We had a delightful guest from Spain called Pilar (herself an Airbnb host) and her daughter staying with us for a week. We wrote a great review for them and they wrote a great review for us (in their native language, Spanish). We got the usual notice from Airbnb that both our reviews are now public, but unfortunately our guest's review does not show up at all on our site (we've waited for it to appear for more than a week). By contrast our own review of them does show up on our guest's site, so we're wondering if our guest's review of us has somehow got "lost"? Any ideas or suggestions? It's so cool to get a review in Spanish - we'd like to see it made public.

Thanks

Frankie & Alan

Look again, it's there, maybe not in the order you expected.

I have exactly the same problem. My guest wrote a brilliant review, over a week ago and it is not visible. I received an email that it was written, so I could see it, but it is not on my listing, which really annoys me...

I had a look for this (your suggestion), but could not see it...it annoys me at it was such a nice review. Received confirmnation from Airbnb, but it is all soft ware...hard to actually talk to someone.

A guest said they wrote a "five-star review" but we have not seen it.  We did write a review for this guest.  Now what?

If the review doesn't appear it hasn't be completed or done to begin with.

You have great reviews I see, so one missing shouldn't bother you but sometimes guests are not always truthful or perhaps their computer broke down during the proces and they thought they've left a review. Regardsless does it really matter? You have superb reviews from all your guests. Good job @Juli13!

Hi Christian,

Thanks so much for your kind response.  The review in question finally showed up.  Unusual guest, but at least it is done.  He wrote one word.  "Fine."

LOL,

Thanks again,

Hi @Frankie-and-Alan0

we host alot of french speaking guests, and noticed that when they write reviews in French, it usually gets posted on the bottom of the review page... Have you looked to see if it is there? It is stupid of airbnb to push a review to the bottom of the page because it isn't in English, but I guess they do so because most people on this platform have general knowledge of English so thats what people want to see first in order to be able to read it when booking your room. let me know if you find it 🙂
