Take pictures of any damage (make sure the date/time are displayed on the picture). Go to the guest's message feed and open Send or Request Money. Follow the prompts and reqiest the amount of money needed to dolve the problem if anything was broken or the carpet/furniture is stained permanently and will need to be replaced. This needs to be completed BEFORE another guest checks in.
Also, write a factual, professional and unemotional review that is short and simple for the guest. Anything beyond that may be removed by Airbnb at the guest's request.
As you go forward, think about the good guests you have had that enjoyed your place and treated it respectfully. Fortunately there are MANY more of those guests than the ones you just had. Good luck in the future.
