Need advice as a guest

I’m currently a guest in Frankfurt, Germany. My first Airbnb stay.  The flat has one bathroom.  The tub drain is stuck closed and the host has called a plumber and suggested I have to pay for the fix.   Am I responsible?

@April227  Of course not. But, this host might be some trouble, so you might want to be in touch with AirBNB while you wait for the plumber and host.

@April227  Unless you dropped something down the drain to cause it to clog, no you are not responsible for the cost to fix it.
