Hello
ive just seen the latest requirements for superhost, with the percentage of trips reviewed. I don’t think it’s fair that I will lose my super host status due to something that is completely out of my control. I have no power to make my guests leave a review, it is of their own desire as to if they leave a review or not. So me being penalised doesn’t really seem fair, when I’m doing my upmost to provide guests with a pleasant stay and I’m going above and beyond the standard requirements.
can you please explain this to me? Because whichever way I look at it it seems very unfair.
thank you
@Stuart188 what is your percentage? If you read through all the threads on this forum you will see quite a few reporting a glitch with the stats. I don't think you will loose the status, they will fix the problem soon.
a lot lower than I thought it would be, hopefully they'll get it fixed soon, I work hard for my status! 🙂
thanks for your help
Hi @Ana1136 thanks for your post - have you seen any updates from Airbnb? I'm struggling to find any answers or other threads on this topic.
@Anna1721 they fixed it a few days ago but now it is happening all over again, I don't know anything more unfortunately.
@Ana1136 thanks again! I just messaged support to see what's going on - fingers crossed they fix this soon!
@Ana1136 Yes, it shows the wrong numbers again. I also noticed that it says on my listing that "95% of recent guests rated me with a 5 star rating in the check-in category". That is not true at all. We can't really count on Airbnb and their stupid stats. The last 40 guests/bookings rated me 5 stars in the check-in category and it is a very long time ago since anyone rated me less. Why do they then write RECENT 95%? It looks bad for potential guests AND it is not true or fair at all 😕
@Sandra856 I agree. I am not even in the family or the work collection, somethings is wrong with those stats too... they have a lot of fixing to do!
Hi @Stuart188 🙂
There is a big bug with the system currently so don't mind the numbers. Airbnb noticed me today on the dashboard that I had 14% reviews and that I needed at least 50% to stay a superhost. I knew it was wrong and contacted support. They told me that there is a big bug in the system. They are trying to fix it. Just so you know 🙂
bloody bugs!! ill be patient and wait for them to fix it, thanks for your response! 🙂
Yes, I lost my superhost percentage of over 75%. Now for some reason it’s 28%, this must be a glitch. Please FIX.
Mike
Just coming in to see if I'm the only one, I have a 75% review stat, but its showing only 24%. Also, its showing my overall at 4.7 which doesn't match at all with my listing.
Going to keep an eye on this and hope they fix it.
I have all great reviews and response time and no cancellations, but lost my superhost status because I didn't have enough bookings! I thought superhost was about quality of hosting not quantity! Anyone else feel strongly about this? Seems that we are meant to be making more money for the powers that be as opposed to being a wonderful host!!!
