No show Guest

I have a guest who was scheduled to arrive 5+ hours ago. I have other inquiries for the dates unsure if I should count him as a no show and start taking other bookings or if I should wait. He booked with Moderate policy.

 

any ideas?

 

we tried calling/texting and messaging through the platform but no response.

Hi @Martina559 🙂

If the guest doesn't cancel you will get  paid in full. You can't accept other guests when a reservation is confirmed. You must never cancel a reservation from your side as you will get penalized hard by airbnb. Why not contact airbnb so they can try and reach out for your guest?

Did you and the guest agree on a certain check-in time?

Yes we did. He said he’ll be here before or around 1pm but no response what so ever from him now. Also this was when he booked over a month ago. He never followed up on his booking.

@Martina559 If he doesn't cancel you will get paid even if he didn't stay. You have tried to contact him but he didn't respond. So it is no longer your problem.

I wouldn't do a thing if it were me 🙂
