What do I do if a guest no shows after they have already booked for four days? My check in ends at 10pm ive messaged a few time to see if she needed a later check in and Haven't heard anything all day. I'm not sure what to do!
Were they flying into town? Maybe their flight got delayed and they can't use their phone at the moment.
Unfortunately a lot of guests are just plain not very communicative.
@Nicole1444 They booked for 4 days. You still can wait for them to check in on the second day.
I had a guest who booked for 6 days and did not come till the second day of the booking due to flight cancellation and delayed.
If the guest don’t reply in 24 hours, you may contact Airbnb and ask Airbnb to contact the guests.
In such situations we message them through Airbnb, then WhatsApp, and text messages , if nothing works then we try to call them. Maybe they are out of WIFI zone or their phone died or is lost. Sooner or later they will find a way to contact you and until then you can go to sleep. If they don't show up at all you should still be paid but it would be smart to inform Airbnb about the no-show, just to prevent any attempts for false accusations, lies and retaliatory reviews.
Thank you guys ive messaged her on every platform I had available to get in touch and still nothing today .I'm a little worried I just hope she is alright since I haven't heard from her. I'm not sure what to do at this point she didn't cancel and hasn't got in touch. This is the first time this has happened since I started hosting a couple weeks ago..
Does anyone know a way to contact Airbnb to let them know of the no show?
