I sent an offer to a potential booking at an agreed price of 917 but when she clicked on my offer and went to pay it came up saying 1010...
how do I alter this in future because I lost this booking
@John767 Hi, from what you're describing you named potential guest the price from your side, and the guest ist of course shown the total price with Airbnb's service (booking fee) charge and possible taxes collected for your area (here in Amsterdam they collect 5% tourist tax directly for the city) tacked on.
If you want to see how much guests will have to pay after guest service fees (paid by guest to Airbnb) and taxes (if any), log off from you account, then search for your own listing. Put in dates to see how much it adds up to. (Airbnb guest service fees are said to range between 6~12%) Also when Airbnb pays you after your guest checks-in, they will take off 3~5% of what you are owed for host service fees.
Please go to Airbnb Help and search "Service Fee" or look under "How payouts work" for more details.
