I just got an email from AirBnB about fund transfer failure due to "insufficient account details in my current payment method" and to add a new payment method that works. When I checked the existing apyment method, to my surprise, I found that the account number (only the last 4 digits are shown) is not what I previously had in the system (and funds have been successfully transferred through). I removed that and addedd a new method. However, I am keen to know how this bizarre change could happen (is it fraud, hacking or what?)

we have exactly the same problem with the difference that I just can`t add a payout method again. We had received the same email. The system says `sorry, something went wrong, please try again` every time I try to add my payout method.. I`m trying for weeks now to get answers / help from airbnb , to no avail. In the meantime they hold more than £400 from us which they are not paying out.

Same problem... been going on for three weeks now. Costing us a fortune in international calls. Keep getting standard email responses sent I assume automatically in response to key words. Driving me crazy.
