Payment Method

I'm hosting for the first time and just updated payment method which is Pending. can I still accept reservations or need to wait until the payment method has been accepted?

When a host payout is ready to be paid to you, it will be released to your payout method for processing. You can check the status of your payouts at any time from your Transaction History.

You can receive reservations and the payment of the guests has Airbnb in your upcoming payout, when your payout method is Ready, in 3-5 workdays, check the Transaction History and you will see your payout in Completed payouts, Airbnb already sends to you.

@David4451  Just so you know, new hosts have to wait up to 30 days for payment of their first reservation. After that, you should see payments released 24 hours after guest check-in time, but it can take a few more days for the payment to appear in your bank or paypal account.
