Payment issues, short notice, etc. wondering....

I'm just wondering if I should be a bit worried as someone I have "prep-approved" to stay at my house is on their way here. I have not received an "acceptance" notification and I was wondering if I can get screwed out of a payment if the people go ahead and end up staying here tonight....thanks!!!

Hi @Peter16,

I would not let them in and explain that they never confirmed the booking and that if they confirm the booking, they are more than welcome to stay but not until it is done.  If you are not comfortable with them I would just go on now and remove the pre-approval.

All worked out....confirmation came as they pulled up in their car.  I did get to tell them what you mentioned, saying that unless the confirmation came I didn't think it would work out.  I appreciate your input....again, thanks 🙂
