Payout delay after cancellation on PayPal

I recently did a full reimbusement to a traveler who cancelled her trip. The value of the reimbusement was $175, which was charged by AirBnB agains my paypal account, however, I received nothing for the booking and there is only a future booking with a value of $1 in my transaction list. How can AirBnB charge me that much for choosing to waive the cancellation policy? Though I was helping someone out who needed to cancel, but now it seems I'm out of pocket by $175. Can someone advise how to discuss it with the accounts department of AirBnB?

@Gerard78 - You've just started hosting so Airbnb may hold the reservation payout for up to 30 days before releasing it.

Make sure you understand your cancellation policy:

Moderate

Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund. Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.

IF your guests cancelled before 5 days, they would be refunded by Airbnb automatically - you don't need to do anything.  If they cancelled with 5 days, they would only be entitled to less than 1/2 the funds and Airbnb would provide that back to them automatically and would pay you automatically for the 1st night and 1/2 the remaining nights.

Thanks, AirBnB charged me half of the cost of the booking after I agreed to a full refund. However, I've not received half of the income for the booking and don't see it in the future transaction. It still seems like I'm $175 out of pocket after agreeing to give a full refund to the traveller.
