Payout delay

My first Airbnb guest left on Saturday morning very early (29 Oct).  I was expecting payment within a day after the departure but have not had any correspondence from Airbnb since.  Can anyone advise as to how it works as I cannot find an email address to query this with Airbnb directly.

When you register a payment method Airbnb deposits a very small ammount to check that the procedure works. in my case they deposited 1 cent to my account. Has this happened?

If your payment method has been verified then Airbnb should transfer the payment the day after the guest arrives and send you an email about that.

Depending on whether banks in South Africa process payments on weekends or not it may take a few days for you to receive the payment to your account.

You could also check your payment preferences under "account settings" then "payment preferences" then "options" to see if you will receive payment for each stay as it ahppens or wheather payments for stays are lumped together until they reach a threshold for payment.
