There appear to be site glitches again. First of all, a guest last week badly wanted to book my listing and was so frustrated that she could not send the inquiry. I saw her inquiry come in and yet the time on the inquiry was hours before I received it. Her difficulty was sending the inquiry.
I have a potential guest that has been trying to book since the weekend. I pre-approved his inquiry within a few minutes of his message coming in (I have a 100% response rate). Yesterday when I checked my dashboard I saw that he is still listed as an inquiry. I pre approved again....and beause it was over 24 yours since his first message I got dinged for the slow response. I don't much care about the 97% response rate I now have but am furious with these site glitches. After the pre-approval, the guest still cannot book. He wrote that he cannot get past the "next" button on his page. It is impossible to contact airbnb.
On the weekend I recieved two calls from guests who had seen my listing on airbnb and wanted to book but could not even send an inquiry. One found out my phone number because they called someone local, and the other found my ad on the municipality's website. I have booked both directly without going through airbnb.

The same is happening to me from the guest side. I am unable to even send an inquiry as the page coming after the payment info never loads. Same as your guest, can pass the next button.
This seems like it's not a localized thing.
It would be nice to have some help.
I also am trying to accept a guest from Montaubon, France. The Airbnb site does not allow me to "accept." Coralie from France and I have been emailing for two days, trying to book the room! I'm wondering if it is a problem with the France Airbnb connection.
Same is happening to me. Keep pre approving the guest, but the guest is not able to go through booking on her part. Made multiple attempts already. What a pity that there is noneone to call for help... Looking for resolution.
For two weeks a guest has been trying to book a 10 day stay at my guest house and has been unable to complete the reservation. I have checked out the calendar and her verifications and there is no reason this should be happening. Who do I contact at Airbnb to help resolve this $1000 problem. Lucy S

I had the same problem yesterday. A message appeared on my dashboard 55 minutes after the guest sent it. As of this morning, she is still unable to book.

I am in Havana trying to book a room for tomorrow as I want switch places. I found a place, it is available, but the red 'request a booking' and 'book now' buttons do not appear or only for a few seconds before disappearing. I cannot request a reservation or book immediately. There is nothing to click on. Or when the 'book now' button appears and I click on it, it just disappears. I changed my credit card info and verified my indentity and still no way of making a reservation. I have now wasted two hours on this.
Does anyone have an idea of what the issue might be. I messaged airbnb twice but I doubt I will get a response quickly.

I would suggest calling the company directly. I did it a couple of times as a host, nd they have been prompt with resolving the issue.
