I had to cancel my first instant Booking ( and my first cancellation as a superhost with Airbnb) recently because having received a booking confirmation I looked at the profile: It was in a foreign language which I could not understand but with a profile photo ( a lady), but as I was about to send a welcome message, a new message arrived explaining that the booking was made by "my wife" , this in perfect english. I felt rather uncomfortable and wonder what was going on. therefore I cancelled the instant booking with a diplomatic reason of unexpected building work.
My point being that 1) it shows on my profile that I cancelled and 2) feeling uncomfortable with instant booking I reset it so that I can decide within 24 hrs ( As I always do) to accept or refuse a booking as I can open a discussion before accepting or not a booking.
