What should I think when a potential guest has 7 positive sounding reviews but only 3 host recommendations?
@Johanna247 I would say go for it. Was there anything within the reviews that was a red flag to you? If not, I think the discrepancy between the recommendations and reviews can be ignored. Seven consistently positive reviews is a great record, don't you think?
Thanks Daniel!
@Johanna247, not every host can see if a guest is recommended. I don't know why. I cannot. My co-hosts can. So I only have the option to make decisions purely off the reviews. If a guest had 7 good reviews, I would go for it.
@Johanna247 benign reasons for this include: multiple reviews from the same host, and reviews from group stays where the guest was not the booker. You can see whether these apply when you look at the reviews.
Ok, thanks!
They had 2 reviews which were ok. I'm thinking they havent left reviews when they thought they might not get good reviews, They are a group of english/european young adults who (I think ) have been on the road for awhile
