Hi everyone. I'm updating my pricing settings...or rather, I'm trying. I've updated my fixed price to NIS 100. However for future periods for which I'm not yet accepting bookings, the price shows as NIS 85 (old smart pricing fixed price). Nothing, but nothing, I do changes it. I've updated the smart pricing module data (and then turned it off). I've updated my fixed price. Please tell me what to do to fix this before I go bonkers.
I get that AirBNB wants me to charge less, but to be honest, its a fair amount of work and some amount of risk and under a certain level, it's just not financially "interesting" enough (as we say here) for me to bother.
Agree with your points. I have two quotes to potential guests that are 35% to 60% lower than my minimums and have had to decline. I find the pricing section of Airbnb to be confusing. If there are suggestions out there to correct, please post a reply. Otherwise this is very misleading to potential guests and troublesome to hosts. I posted a question to Airbnb a few days ago... no reply to date. Greg
I am having the same problem. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this.
The only think I can think of is to stop people making an automatic booking so I can message them about the incorrect pricing - not ideal!!!
I discovered the price changing secret. Change from calendar. Block the dates using the box on the right. Input the amount. Click save. IF YOU HAVE A GUEST SCHEDULED IN BETWEEN THOSE TIMES the change will not take! You need to block and change the dates PRIOR to the scheduled visit. And then AGAIN for the block of time After that scheduled visit.
