Hi, I'm new to the whole Airbnb. I have published a listing for my home but there is one thing that is really perplexing me, It says, 5 guests | 1 night | $51.83
Does that mean 5 people cost 52 dollars a night? That is not what I wanted. How do I fix this such as $52 per person
Once logged in:
Edit listing
Pricing
go to Nightly price - Edit
put in your base price
further down the page is
Standard fees and charges - Edit
add cost of extra people
hopefully no-one makes a booking before you make your changes.
@Linda2698 And then, when you get a booking, or booking request, and it says 1 guest, or even 2 or 3, always ask the guest, when sending them the bookng message, to make sure they have entered the correct number of guests who will be comng. Some guests just assume that because it lists accommodation for 5, that they can show up with 5 guests, or they try to get away with not paying extra guest fees. Or they book for 3 and neglect to mention the 4 kids.
Unfortunately, I'm getting a lot of requests made because of this ridiculously cheap price. I am going through the wreckage right now and had to 2 bookings because of it.
