Pricing

Pricing

Hi community,

I am a relatively new host on Airbnb but I think I have learnt some of the ropes.
I use smart pricing and have set a minimum and maximum amount. However, just yesterday I received a booking which was much lower than the minimum I had set ($15 lower for 5 nights), and when the request came through via airbnb I received a message such that if I don't accept this booking then these dates will be blocked off for future bookings?
How is it possible that the price was lowered to an amount lower than my minimum?

Would appreciate any help!

Thanks,
Sreena

@Sreena0  Could it be the lower "non refundable rate" you offer

This just happened to me twice in the last two days.  Smart pricing booked twice at rates lower than my minimum price.  Can someone explain this to me?

Marisa

@Marisa331 See Jeff's response above. It is likely the same situation since you offer this non-refundable rate as well.
