I am fairly new to all of this but have had 4 bookings thus far. Two have been fine and priced in accordance with my listing. However, I have just received a booking for 18 nights which should be at £75 per night and it has been offered at £61 per night?? This is a huge chunk out of my earnings. Can anyone help please??
You advertise a discount of 18 percent for bookings over 7 days - that has lowered your price.
In effect you are giving away a day and a bit free of charge with this amount over a week.
Airbnb seems to recommend big weekly and monthly discounts when you are setting up, however most hotels don't offer such generous discounts, so I'd advice to go back in to your calendar page and review with your bottom line in mind.
Looks like you have a weekly discount set (18% according to your listing), so that's why your income has dropped. I use it too, as if a guest stays for a week my costs reduce, and I think people like a discount if they stay longer too.... You can remove it using the 'Pricing Settings' when looking at your calendar.
