We are in Paris. Have an air bnb. We have been locked out of our apartment. Our key no longer is working and the host isn’t picking up. What should we do?

@Fyza0 Have you tried jiggling the key around a bit? Also sometimes if you try pulling or pushing the door right where the lock is, it can loosen off a tight door jamb so the key will turn.
You can also contact Airbnb to see if they can make contact with the host.
I’ve contacted 20 times. It’s a key that has to be turned. The host isn’t picking up.
It’s almost 11pm in Paris and we just don’t know what to do.
@Fyza0 so a regular key? How is it not working? You can go to a local cafe while you wait, if he doesn't pick up soon maybe try to contact Airbnb. But I still dont understand how a regular key can stop working. Did you break it?
No it’s not broken. It’s just not turning. Wondering if locks have been changed?

@Fyza0 I doubt the locks were changed, some keys stick, you'll have to try jiggling it around. Hopefully your host will see the messages soon and can offer suggestions or send someone with another key. You might try contacting someone in an apartment near the airbnb, maybe they know some tricks with the keys?
Thank you for all your help!!!!! Jiggling it worked!!!! So thankful for all of you all!
@Fyza0 Yay, you got in! If you are staying at this listing for awhile, make sure the host tries spraying some WD40 in the key slot- this can make it easier to work again. And sometimes this happens when some screws work loose inside the door lock. It'll only get worse if the host doesn't address it.
