Question regarding cleaning and extra guest fee.

Question regarding cleaning and extra guest fee.

I am nearly finished editing my first listing. However, I cannot seem to add a cleaning nor a extra guest fee. I clicked on, "additional pricing" and only see the weekly/monthly discount option. I added a picture. Thank you in advance for the help!

I am having the same problem as the original poster. I've been through pages of help articles and they keep referring to the same instructions. These instructions seem dated, I believe the site and menu options have been changed. When I'm in pricing details, I can't find "extra charged and currency" or anything about a cleaning fee. This is very frustrating! Any help welcome (and please don't just post the instructions online unless you can offer further assistance or verify that they are accurate). Thanks!

Hi @Alissa7 @Larisa5 It's a frustrating site to navigate & not at all intuitive that's for sure. Go to Edit Listing, Calendar, then on the right hand side at the top you will see Pricing Settings. Under Extra Charges and Currency, you'll find spots to add all your additional pricing. Hope that helps! Karen

I should also have mentioned - use the website on a desktop or laptop. The app. doesn't have all the features that are available on the website. - K

Hi Karen,

I really wanted this to be my answer...but I feel like I'm seeing a totally different interface! Here are the pricing details as I see them:

None of the help topics seem to relate to the screens I'm seeing.

Thanks,

Alissa

HI @Alissa7 Ahhh. Now I see. Looks like you're just in the process of setting up your listing - it was awhile ago that I did ours, so now memory isn't serving very well! .... but I think you'll have to complete the set-up & THEN you'll see the full interface & can tweek it. Makes sense actually, there's no need to have you go through every small detail of your listing in the setting-up phase.

So, continue, and once you have it set up, put your listing on "snooze" while you add in everything & are comfortable letting it go "live".  Please keep us posted - Karen

And @Alissa7, if you need to get anyone's attention here, put the @ in front of their name - they'll get an email notification. Handy for those of us who may or may not come back to check to see if anyone asked another question. Glad I checked today 🙂

@Karen-and-Brian0 Thank you so much for letting me know that I could just publish and change those details after. I was so caught up with getting it perfect the first time! Very helpful, appreciate the tips greatly.
