Rebooking after being declined not allowed?

I had two people request reservations yesterday, one for two weeks, another for a few days. Not sure how it happened, but the one for two weeks came to my inbox after the reservation. Since I had already approved the second person for the few days, I of course had to decline the other person. I did tell them they could rebook for the other times my place is available during her trip and she really wants to. But when she goes to rebook, airbnb won't allow it.

It'd also be great if airbnb could have an actual tech support contact, because I'm certain airbnb is the only ones to resolve this.
