Refund question

Hi there,

 

I have a guest that booked with me, then cancelled the same day.  He requested a refund. My cancellation policy is "Strict." He requested a full refund and was partially refunded.  I then refunded the remaining amount, which I was told will be deducted from my next payout.  

 

I just want to be sure that I will not be out-of-pocket for refunding this individual, and that the second part of his payment will still be made (which covers my refund to him.)

Hi @Robert341,

 

Welcome to the Community Center! Your guest has been refunded according to your cancellation policy - as you then decided to give him an additional refund, that will be deducted from your next payout (as you were told). Hopefully you will be able to rebook those dates so you won't lose out on that money, but you will not receive a payout for this reservation, as you have issued him a full refund.
