Relisting my property after deactivating it for almost a year

Relisting my property after deactivating it for almost a year

Hi, I would like some advice on relisting a property after being inactive for some time. I have my property - 1 bedroom listed a year ago but however I decided to discontinue it as I had some other prioritise. I have decided to re-list it back. I had good reviews from listing it previously however I noticed I have not had any response since I have relisted it back. I have not changed anything - same property, location, etc. Just wondering if there are any tips or advice on how do I get some response. Though I have past reviews but none are recent, not sure if that is stopping people to book the place.  Should I mention it somewhere in the description so people could understand why there are no current reviews? Any thoughts, tips and advice would be greatly appreciated!

@Prit42  I'm not sure how much attention guests pay to the dates of the reviews and you certainly have a lot of good reviews. But it certainly can't hurt to mention in the listing info that you took a break from hosting for a year and a half, which is why the reviews date from that time.

Maybe it's slow season in your area? Or maybe there's a lot more competition now than when you last had your listing up?

Thanks for the response Sarah!! Perhaps you are right, I feel it is probably more competition in my area now. I managed to finally get a response over the one week period and I hope I will get some response over the next few weeks and it won't be as slow. It's not really a slow season given it's December. Hoping it gets better. If anyone has any advice or tips please feel to share it. Thanks
