Reservation

Hello Hosts,

 

I've got a problem and Airbnb system is no help.  I'm a Seasonal Host and I reopen next June (2018). Airbnb took a reservation for Dec. 28 - 31 and we are closed . I canceled with the customer/ Lodger and now the cancellation shows up on my page, annocing that I cancelled after 31 days. How can I get this removed from my Home Page ?   Parker's Cottage. Livermore, Maine

If it was a technical error because you had the dates blocked and somehow they unblocked themself, or if you can proove extenuating circumstances, the support could remove it. Otherwise you will be out of luck, because it is part of the punishment that airbnb applies to hosts for cancelling.

Peter, I must do something about this. I'll try to find their mailing address and mail a complaint. What do you think ?

Hi,
It can not be removed. If your are closed in december, those dates must be set to "unavailable. It is the responsibility of a host to maintain the calender. If you cancel a reservation, this message automatically shows up in your profile. Best regards, Emiel

Howdy Emiel,  If I checked my calender every day before I went to work and their system openned my calender and booked me  " How can I be at fault " ? There must be a way to remove a Auto Negitive Review.
