Reservations : using the accept button

I am quite new to airbnb and I need help in responding to a booking. Most of the time, our Internet in Malawi is poor and the accept button does not work. You have to find strong Internet or WiFi....(and I use my phone). As I speak, I couldn't host 3 guests because the booking expired before I could successful with the accept button. I wish they could contact me by watsapp or Facebook and use the page as a third option.

@Kulsum2  Unfortunately your Wifi situation may end up making it impossible for you to use Airbnb. Not responding to Requests or Inquiries penalizes you on Response rate, and if you go too low on that rating, Airbnb will suspend your listing. We live in a digital age and Airbnb is an online platform.

I do wish they wouldn't have such an image-heavy site that takes so long to load if you don't have high-speed reliable Internet (I have iffy internet sometimes, too). I don't see any reason why if we just want to access our hosting pages, that we have to go through waiting for the main page with all its photos to load- we don't need to see that.

You can wish all you want that Airbnb would use Whatsapp or Facebook, like you could wish for someone to give you a million dollars, but that's not likely to happen 🙂
