Retaliation from a bad guest . Waiting for a resolution.
Its hard to beleive that some case managers don't understand the retaliation policy on Airbnb.
I'm waiting for a new case manager after this retaliatory review. I guess this guest is entitled to NOT READ our house rules and brag about it ,and still retaliate with a BAD review.
I see the negative review but I am surprised you did not respond to it, @Coldo0. Why not?
I looked at your rules and it is my understanding that some of them, those relating to specified fees for violating a rule, are not usually upheld by Air BNB policies. For example, if a person uses your towels to remove make up AND you are not able to remove the stain, you can make a damage claim. If you are able to remove the stain, Air BNB will not honor the claim. Perhaps this is not how other platforms operate, but this is how Air BNB does.
I’m still waiting on a different case manager, the case manager spoke yesterday was in Ireland , and he didn’t even know how to find where’s the camera was disclosed on my listing .
So I educated him on how to find it .
I'm absolutely in disbelief that this is happening, and Airbnb is not backing me up .
I know how to claim items on Airbnb, it’s juts a heads up since we do use very expensive towels .
Honestly...look at your place!! Who gives a s*t about that review...your place is GORGEOUS!!! Keep your head up, this business can be tough when you encounter the occasional bitter guest. I know how disheartening it can be. I live this life with you. 😞
