I recently received a message from a previous guest that wanted to post a review but was asked to scan in his passport in order to post the review as part of a new security measure. This seems a little extreme just to post a review, has anyone else heard of this???

What would be the reasoning behind it???

Never heard of it. Sounds very odd. Is he sure he's talking to BnB and it's not some scam?

I would give BnB a call or check with them on social media.
