Hi everyone,
Back again. It's happening again. I had a guest who booked for 2 people last night. 20+ people showed up, I got complaints from neighbors, and ended up having to throw the guest out for a party violation. I woke up today to find my listing suspended with no explanation. I told safety support I had cameras on the exterior of the home, which I disclose, and at my front door from my ring doorbell, and sent them videos and screenshots as proof of the party. I also warned them that the guest would likely retaliate by claiming something with the cameras, but mentioned that I have them in the listing where airbnb tells me to put them, that I message the guests telling them they are around the entire exterior of the home, and asked that they please check my listing and messages before taking action against me, and I even offered to have them check my ring account at anytime to see the cameras on there. Of course they didn't. And now my account is suspended yet again and I'm stuck waiting for who knows how long until it's resolved.
Last time I lost roughly 15K in revenue while my listing was shut down for weeks. I don't understand how I can have the cameras mentioned where they are supposed to be mentioned in my listing, how I can go above airbnb's requirements and message the guest reminding them they are there, and still have this happen anytime I have to report a guest. VRBO doesn't do this. Booking doesn't do this. I do not understand how airbnb cannot take the 20 seconds to look at my listing and message history and see they are listed before penalizing me.
Does anybody know a contact at airbnb who can help?
