Sales and Use taxes Nc

Does Airbnb collect Sales & Use Tax for NC?  I know they collect for Occupancy taxes but do they collect sales and Use Tax?

I have the same question, gut tells me they are in charge of the sales tax, but the website only states Occupancy taxes are collected and remitted for us. Also, wouldn't we need specific documentation or proof of that collection and remittance when we file our taxes each year?

You can google this.

In Connecticut, we don't pay sales/use tax.  We only pay occupancy tax which ABB collects.

I have a Tax EIN so that if I "sell" something (bicycle/kayak rentals), I can collect the tax and remit it to the state on a quarterly basis.

This information is so easy to find if you search it.

I see replys from last year. I still don't know the answer. In NC I have to pay sales and use tax for my VRBO earnings but I am niot sure if AIrbnb will handle this for me. I only see mention of occupancy tax
