Setting up a virtual hotel in a rural area

I live in a rural area and we have no local motel / hotel.  We have lots of outdoor activities and several camping areas.  But no hotel and it is very unlikely anyone will build one anytime soon.  My idea was to "set up a virtual hotel" in our small town that would have 8 or 10 quality cabins or rooms to rent.  I was wondering if we could "brand" this hotel to boost our tourism stays.

Has anyone done this type of thing?  Is this permissable by Airbnb?  The cabins and rooms would be owned by various people who meet certain quality standards.  Any advice?

@Timothy155  Yes it's possible you would probably want to setup one AirBnB Host account with a co-host to handle all the bookings and correspond with the guests. Each cabin would be listed seperately under the one AirBnB Host account. The AirBnB Host would act as a property manager in this case charge a percent of the rental income for each booking for your work. You would also be responsible for organizing and paying the cleaning crews. It would be benefical to you to read a lot on this forum as there is a wealth of knowledge and help for wonderful hosts and people.

I really appreciate the suggestions. I am new to all this but think it will be a great enhancement to our small WV town.

One question -- when you say I should real a lot on this forum -- can you point me to what you are referring to?    Should I read up on the AirBnb Host forum?  What is the link to that?

Like I said, I am brand new to all this... but am a fast learner.  THANKS!

@Timothy155  You posted in the help forum it gives info more to guests and hosts on issues they need resolved. The Host forum if you click on the Discuss above is a great resource for hosting, ideas, do's and don'ts and anything else you are interested in as a host. The search option also works great to check various subjects you need information on. Use the red Start a Conversation button on the right upper hand corner to ask something you cannot find information on or need more information on. You'll learn a lot in a few clicks here and there on subjects related to your questions ;D
