Should I accept this booking?

Any personal address can be covered for your privacy. The 2nd form can be a bank card. Student I.d. Passport (you can cover up numbers on card). We are only looking for a name match."

"I’m at work now. Through AirBnB, I did upload a government ID. That’s been processed and approved by them. It’s legitimate. I do hope to stay at your place. However, I have been vetted by AirBnB."

@Melissa803   I also have experienced newbies that have uploaded the required ID and pictures but the system is slow to establish the profile.  Like you, I identify in an initial message what I expect, but I also ask questions that require the guest to demonstrate good communication and recognition of the special experience of the shared accommodation economy.  This buys me a bit of time to let Air BNB platform work, but it also puts out the expectation that MY expectations are different from Air BNB basics.  If this is not acceptible to the booking guest, I pass on accepting the request.

@Melissa0 Hi Melissa,  Airbnb doesn’t allow hosts to get IDs from guest directly.
