Smoking

Does anyone else have a problem with smokers?  I have a CLEAR designated smoking area, yet it does not apply to my guests, most of whom are from another country.  I want to make them feel at home, but not "that" at home.  I am going to retire in this house, I would like it to maintain it's beauty and value.  HELP!

@Sandy149 It's not only smoking that may create problems. Each place might have some other rules too. Smokers seem to have respected my place, sometimes checking in I smell and kindly remark that they would have to do it outside. There have been a few who I know smoked through the window. Possibly a smoke detector to consider...
