Special Offer

Hi folks.  Does anyone out there know if it is possible to extend a general "special offer" of a certail per cent off.  This isn't to a particular guests, just in the pricing to entice last minute days/weekends to get booked at a lower price.  I notice I get alerts occasionally to do this from airbnb, but how can I initiate this on my own for my own selected days?

Thanks.

The rule sets offer several options for special discounts like "last minute", "early bird'", custom discounts etc. to be applied to selected periods. But you must have the multicalender available for that.

Best regards,

Emiel

Thanks so much for your reply Emiel.  Excuse my ignorance, what is the multicalender and how to I get availability to it?

Thanks.

It is also called "professional tools" and i think Superhosts are allowed to use them, so try to install here (go to bottom of page at "get started"):

Be aware that if you do sign up to use any part of the "Pro-Tools" section of the site - even just the multi-calendar - then at some point in the near or distant future, you may be required to register as an Airbnb business account, under threat of having your payments witheld.

If you're just a small individual host,  and not a business/company, having to sign up as an Airbnb business account could potentially cause you serious future  issues in relation to being permitted to operate legally, depending on the STR regulations in your area.

There's a reason why Airbnb has a dedicated part of the site, specifically for professional/commercial operators, and not intended for use by small hosts. Proceed with caution.

Until now i did not experienced what you describe. The  multicalender (and the rest which comes with it being a set of tools) was applied automatically to me, because having multiple listings (several rooms in same location). It it also possible to opt out from the 'professional  tools" at any time..

Best regards,

Emiel
