Hello Everyone
I’m wondering how hosts deal with their calendars when you have guest leaving in morning & new guest arriving in afternoon?
We haven’t had this yet but want to be prepared. Does Airbnb split the day for reservations?
Thank you,
Paul & Margo

Normally your outgoing guest checks out in the morning (11am in my case) and the incoming ones come in the afternoon (2pm with me) which leaves 3 hours for cleaning.
Hello,
Guests are booking nights (not days). For example: Guest A wants to book a thursdaynight, it means thursday must be available to book and guest A will leave on friday (firday does NOT has to be available on the calender!). If another guest B wants to book fridaynight, offcourse friday must be available to book.
If both guests book, guest A leaves on Friday, and guest B arrives on Friday. Your check-in/out times setup should be in a way guests A must leave before guest B arrives and also provide yourself a timeslot to clean/prepare the accomodation in between. So you "split"the day yourself !
Best regards,
Emiel

Thanks for the replies.
It just looked like Airbnb blocked off the whole day instead of half on my calendar and I wasn’t sure what the guests would see.
Take care.
