Hi Everyone,
Wanted a bit of help with how to approach a booking.
I have a guest arriving in three days for the Easter long weekend and my stove has just given up. I am unable to get in a repairman til the following Tuesday which is well after the guest would have checked out. (for background, the repairman is part of Strata so its free, guest is paying $250 for 3 nights, so not worth me getting in an emergency repairman)
Would it be better to cancel the 3 night booking (and hope that she is able to find something suitable in time?) it is the long weekend so i doubt it.
Or would it be better to let her know and see what she wants to do. I have a fully functioning kitchen (aside from the cooker) . Got a kettle, sandwich press, toaster, microwave, George Foreman Grill. And maybe leave her, $50 for some takeaway?
Judging from her profile, I feel she is unlikely to use the cooker so it would be a huge inconvenience?
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Claire
