Hello everyone!
Would very much appreciate your advice on the following please. I did not make it to a Superhost status in the last assessment (July 1st) - only was missing one completed trip, all other criteria were met.
Now, in the current period, I got my 10th trip completed and gladly, I got all four criteria check-marked in green, and the status in my Stats section under Becoming Superhost changed saying I now was meeting the criteria and if I continued to do so I would get a Superhost status in the next assessment, on Oct 1.
Great... BUT! In a few days after that exciting change, I noticed that the OLD statement returned and now it is saying AGAIN that I am NOT meeting the requirements... At the same time all four criteria ARE STILL CHECK-MARKED IN GREEN - obviously, nothing has changed: I have not received any non-5 star review (I currently have 100% 5-star reviews and reviews were received for far more than 50% of completed trips), have now 11 trips over the past year, have not cancelled anything, response rate is still 100%.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? Why did the statement change back to the old “non-meeting” one, even though I am now meeting the requirements and, respectively, all four criteria are check-marked in green? Is this a bug? If so, how should I deal with it?
Many thanks in advance,
Tina
Superhost status.
My stat page has suddenly told me that I am not meeting Superhost page even though it has been saying that I do meet the requirements for some time and my last reviews have all been 5 stars. According to the stats page I meet all of the requirements

David and Coral, thanks for sharing your issue - yes, exact the same as mine...
I sent a note to Airbnb Help and they replied with VERY general statements, like "don't worry about the status, all is fine with your guests and their experiences, hope you will improve your response rate to 100% by October etc."
My response rate currently IS 100% (so cannot be improved any further), therefore I got an impression, that my question/case was not properly investigated. An absolutely useless response, containing irrelevant information and "hopes" - waste of my and their time.
Nothing said about a possible bug or, may be they simply decided to take off that statement on pre-meeting requirements, for whatever reasons.
If you want to try and send them your case, you may get a more helpful response.
Thanks again for sharing your experience - now we both know we are not alone, so something must be wrong with the system, or they simply decided to take off the statement on pre-meeting requirements.
Regards,
Tina
Hi, I have the same problem, fulfilled all the criteria but it still says I'm not meeting the requirements. I never got the 'met the requirement' status like Tina did though. Has always been the same since I started.
I'm having the exact same problem !!!
I have all the green checkmarks but I still have the same message
"You're NOT meeting the requirements for Superhost status—we hope you will soon!"
It has happened to me both with my July 1st and Oct 1st assesment.. It is really obserd that ta $25bn company has bugs on its code...
Hello - after I posted my original message I contacted someone Airbnb help and finally was able to talk to a Case Manager in the US who was very helpful and assured me it was a matter presentation on their part and that if I maintained the same level then at the next assessment on October Ist I would become a Superhost. This indeed has been the case!
I copy below part of the reply from the case manager which explains the situation:
Regarding the message on your Stats Page, it's not a bug, but in fact is the information regarding the last Superhost assessment in July.
When we make an assessment, we publish a message that will stay as such until the next one. In this case, in July you didn't meet the requirements and that message was posted.
On the next assessment in October the 1st, if you keep being such an amazing host, the message will change to reflect your Superhost Status.
Just the same problem for me. I was meeting the criteria during the three months ending 1st October, and I still am, but no superhost status. Can anyone give me the email address to contact Airbnb. I cannot find it anywhere on the site. It's as though they don't want their hosts to contact them. Aren't we customers as well?
Rod
David and Coral, thanks for sharing the response you got from Airbnb staff - obviously that was much more helpful than what I heard from them. Glad you received the Superhost status and hope everyone else experiencing the same issue did. I did too.
Rod, sounds like something is still wrong in your case, please check this - https://community.airbnb.com/t5/Community-Help/Contact-Airbnb-A-Community-Help-Guide/td-p/16165 , a nice and detailed guide on how to contact Airbnb. The first option worked out well for me. Hope this helps and good luck!
