I'v got 82% of 5 stars trips and complited every criteria, I'm wondering why I'm not a superhost?

Thanks,

Tom

@Tomasz0 You read this 82% just below the Average Overall Rating ? Just to check something, what is your % in the Overall experience section ?

Olivier

Hi Agnes&Olivier,

Thank you for your message. You are right, I looked the wrong statistic.

Great work! Your last 6 ratings were each 5 stars. Overall, you’ve received 5 stars 80% of the time. On average, hosts near you get 5 stars 74% of the time.

Lucky, I still should have a superhost status. Shouldn't I ?

@Tomasz0 In a truly logical sense, yes, but alas less obviously than by reading the first % 😞 We have the same case in the French speaking Community Center and try to figure out what is wrong. I suspect a problem of rounding up. If it's not indiscreet what is the detail of your stars in Overall experience, I mean number of 5 stars, number of 4 stars, 3 stars 2, 1 ?

Olivier

Hi Olivier, thanks for your help and hope that will help you to slve the problem.

Best,

Just help to understand, @Tomasz0, I'm afraid. My guess is that your Average Overall Rating is green just because of a rounded up.

It seems that the computation of this rating goes like this : (69x5+15x4+2x3)/86 = 4,77906977, that is 4.8 rounded to the nearest 0.1. So you achieve apparently the goal for superhost (4.8) but not really -- since 4.77 < 4.8.

However all of this is purely guess...

Since something is obviously wrong (everything green but no superhost status), maybe you could contact airbnb to get a official explanation ? And come back to tell me if I was right or wrong ?

You'll see...

Congrats, anyway, if you're not superhost, you're close 😉

Olivier

Thanks Olivier, unfortunatly your explanation looks right to me. Enyway, I'll try to get the official explanation.

Best,

Tom
