Good afternoon!

We have just received our recent superhost assessment  and were rejected. In May, we were told  by an AIRBNB rep that they don't have any doubts of us achieving this status (this was after the mixup of the second cancellation). We meet all the requirements, except commitment. We had one cancellation in September 2015 (issue with the piping our landlord had to fix immediately - so we had to cancel), and the other cancellation was due to a mixup with your AIRBNB representative.

Is it possible to change our status? This would be of big help!

Kind regards,
Aaron and Matt

I wouldn't sweat it. I have been a Superhost for over 5 years and I just lost it after 2 guests gave me 3 stars in the location review. This review is considered BS by so many hosts because you cannot do anything about it. You write your location in your description but guests give you a low rating anyway. Go figure?

Funny, I thought I would be more upset but I am not. Guests do read reviews but don't really understand the Superhost concept. Guests are concerned about 2 things- Price and Price.

I am kind of relieved because now I plan on being more assertive with guests that are too demanding. 😄

Rewards are phone support and $100 voucher. That is what you get after 1 year of continuous Superhost status!
