THIS HAS TO BE STOPPED
A guest writing a bad review as retaliation for a host filing a resolution for damaged property.
If a guest causes damage to a property during their stay (and there’s suffice evidence of the damage determined by airbnb) the guest should lose their privilege to write a review.
It is not fair that a host is put in a position where they know if they file a resolution for damages that they will most likely receive a bad review from the guest.

Yes. This has happened every time I have had to request funds from a guest for damages. (6 in total over a 5 year period of time as a host) It has actually happened with the last two guests. I’m in the process of airbnb going through these two reviews. They just removed one of them.
My point in bringing this up is that this has to change. The policy has to change. I spent the majority of yesterday and will most likely spend the majority of today dealing with two revengeful guests.
If a guest causes damage to a host’s property and through evidence airbnb deems it to be valid, then that guest should no longer have the privilege to write a review.
My background: II have been a host with airbnb for 5 years. I have been a Super Host for almost 5 years. I have 126 reviews making up 4.8 stars. My home is as beautiful in person as in the pictures and the description is spot on. This is seen in the 115 5-star and 5 4-star reviews. This is my personal home and the money from sharing my home with others is my livelihood.
Is this happening to you? you didn't say but I do agree with you, You are not guaranteed it will get removed,
