The host doesn't answer anymore

Hello everyone,

I need help: last week after a careful search I booked an apartment for a week in September.

I first contacted the owner and we talked for a long time, it was fast in the answers, exhaustive and very nice. I booked and after confirming the reservation he did not answer me again, he did not give me his contacts, exact address, I do not find his news anywhere; I've been waiting for some days because I miss a bit on the trip and it was halfway through the weekend. I gave him all my contacts. Today I wrote yet, but nothing, no sign, what should I do? Should I cancel my booking? Do I move in any other way? Do I still wait? Should I cancel how long it takes for my refund? The cancellation terms are flexible, so is the refund fully?

@Eleonora93 flexible cancellation policy > https://www.airbnb.com/home/cancellation_policies

You should receive an email confirmation from Airbnb regarding your reservation that has the host's address, phone #, and email address. If you cannot find this, give Airbnb a call.

Give airbnb a call where? There is no phone anywhere...and my host NEVER answered my emails...The booking was accepted though, but ther eis no way to get in touch with this person...I am 2 days away from the trip and don't know where I'll stay...

@Lenutsa0

read your travel itinerary / booking confirmation... you should have all info there.

If you want to contact Airbnb, cancel and need help to be relocated then here is how to do it.

Many thanks...I found somewhere else this link: https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Help/Contact-Airbnb-A-Community-Help-Guide/m-p/16165#M728

And the phone number (1-855-424-7262) worked out well. Even the Customer Service could not get in touch with this host...I guess sometimes people can get sick. But they should have a 100% refund policy if the host does not respond, especially 2 days before travel.
I was basically told to wait another 24 hours before looking for another booking...and my refund will be 50% with the effort of recuperating the other 50%.
Some better rules have to be in plcae because hosts are people too and can get sick or anything can happen. No one should have to start looking for a new reservation the day before leaving.
