I continue to get the message " the resolution payer must select a valid payment method" when I try to send a refund to a guest. I'm not sure why I'm unable to send this money to her. Hopefully someone can provide a bit of guidance? Thanks. Cyndi

It sounds like the guest removed their payment information from their account, in which case the Airbnb computer does not know where to send the money. Contact the guest to see if they need to update their payment info. If all is good on their end then contact Airbnb directly for guidance.
@Tim-and-Holly0 I think maybe you read that wrong. @Cyndi30 is trying to send money to the guest so Cindi is the "resolution payer". The guest would be the payee.
@Cyndi30 I think you may need to contact Airbnb to see what they want from you. If your hosting account is linked to your bank account, (that's how you get paid) Airbnb can't pull money from your bank account. I would think they'd just deduct it from your next payout, but maybe not.

That is correct, but if the guest has deleted their payment information (after completing a trip this would not be uncommon for a guest who no longer needs payments extracted) then Cyndi would be unable to send the money. As I said, the computer would not know where to send it to. Thus she needs to contact the guest to confirm their payment details are updated and if they are then contact Airbnb.

Thanks for the replies. I will contact the guest and ask her if her payment information is still active. If it is, then I will contact AirBnB for additional guidance. This has been very helpful. Cyndi
