Unauthorized Renter - Host is being evicted

So we were staying at an AirBnB property until last night when the County Sheriff arrive to post/deliver a notice to vacate on the door. This means that they plan to evict immediately. I called Business Travel - AirBnB Help, they refunded for one night, but I'm trying to understand why I am being charged when we could not stay. The host told AirBnB that the County posted the notice on the wrong door, which is untrue. The poster stated that she checked the Leasing Office to confrim the address. The order specifically identified the unit where we were staying. AirBnB Rep called back to ask if we wanted to continue our stay and only authorized one night refund when I had to find a hotel at $215/night. What are next steps?

So let me get this straight, the host is beign evicted from her property and she has rented that property to you. The eviction is to happen immediately, not in 90 days or some other day in advance - the posted bill would say when.  Airbnb, when you got in touch with them, did not see this as a "host cancel" or an "extenuating circumstance" but that you were choosing to leave - thus being a guest cancel.  Airbnb refunded you one night of your stay in this property but did not provide you with a credit to stay in another Airbnb property or assist you in being rehoused.  Most of this story sounds out of character with Airbnb's typical actions as I've experienced them.  Usually they go out of their way to help a guest.  If you are talking with an agent at Airbnb, I certainly would discuss it with her more fully.  If you are being forced to leave the property immediately, you need to be in touch with them.

Yikes! it's years later and I just saw your reply. Thank you for responding. AirBnB continued calling for 2-3 days after I left the rental to resolve the issue. It ended up being what it was. The owner accused me of stealing his keys when he told me to leave them in the unit. As time went on, more renters came to stay and the reviews were consistent with my experience where the host was channeling guests to 3 locations.
