Unblock the Cancellation date

I'm a total noob and I cancelled a reservation bcz i got a way better inquiry. Now my calendar says its blocked !! Please help those are the most important days ( new years ever !! )

Is there any way to contact airbnb and explain the situation ?

Cancelling a reservation because of a better deal is not acceptable on Airbnb. But you can give it a try:

Well there could be reasons why AirBnb might reopen the dates.

I have a similar issue. The guest declined due to our listing price being outside of his budget. Airnbnb flagged it as a cancelation and the dates no longer appear to be rentable.

Call AirBnB and explain this was a guest wanting to cancel and you don't understand why you are being penalized. I'm guessing you got a message that said the guest request to cancel and answered with an Accept. This is a loophole where a guest can get back all money and service fee's. Always hit DECLINE to any messages received after a booking.

You cannot cancel on one guest because someone offers you more money. This is the exact reason why AirBNB blocks you from re-listing for days you cancel.  You entered into an agreement with the original guest who booked with you in good faith and you broke that agreement.

@Hacienda13  Dates are blocked permanently if the host cancels. You can't rebook them.

There is nothing to sort out. That is a penalty for cancelling and it is written in Airbnb policy.
