Using travel credit

I had sent a travel credit to my friend to use but she didn't use the link (assuming that it would be applied once she signed up) and it wasn't. Is there any way for her to still get the credit (and me)? Thank you!

I just got a message from Airbnb that a travel credit I have is expiring in October.  I want to use it on a booking I made for next year.  I don't know how to apply this credit to my reservation.  What do I do?
