Washer & Dryer Recommendations?

Washer & Dryer Recommendations?

Hi!! Our clothes dryer just doesn’t do the job for quick turnovers so we are looking for recommendations! I have read consumer reports and the Home Depot reviews and yet to find a dryer that can dry a full load in one cycle!! Lol

Do any of you have a dryer that you love? If so could you post the model number?!

Sending you all lots lots of happiness and success💓

I’ve had great luck with my Maytag. Not sure of the model number. It’s gas powered and big. It doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles, but that means fewer things to break. It handles large loads of linens very well.

Using dryer balls would help cut the drying time.

I have a Whirlpool Cabrio set in my house that holds very big loads.  The dryer is very efficient, but if I wash a heavy comforter, I find that it helps to pull it out and reposition it during the dry cycle so that all of it dries at once.  Sometimes it may take 70 to 80 minutes, and the Cabrio dryer allows me to set it for however many minutes.  For a load of maybe 5 to 7 bath towels, they will dry in an hour with no problem.  I don't know the model number - sorry.

Instead of trying to get the wash+dry cycle complete within the turnover, I think it's just easier to have 2 or 3 sets that can be alternated. With that said I agree with @Susan1404  that repositioning items mid-cycle helps. My mom would also give each individual item a good shake before transfering them to the dryer. Said it was way better than tossing the lump of wet laundry into the dryer.

Hi! Yes we do have multiple sets of sheets buts it’s usually the bath and pool towels :).
