Would you leave a review for a guest who is disputing a damage claim?

I recently had a guest who damaged some property and is disputing this. I more than anyone knows that this community thrives on reviews. I want to leave him a negative review, but am worried he will write then a negative one back, which on top of the expected issues with that, will also impact and possibly remove my superhost status. What have my fellow hosts done in situations like this?

@Matthew191  Most likely the guest will write a bad review anyways after you claimed the damage.

 

You can write the review on the 14th day after checkout. At least this will not affect the 14 days window which you may get more bookings. I do encourage you to write an honest review especially the damage was done because of careless or intentional instead of accidental.
