a guest asking for a partial refund

Hi

I recently hosted a guest for 1 night and wifi was down. I'd like to offer a 50% refund. Does that sound fair and could someone help me in order to do so on the airbnb website?

Hello @Philip104,

You can send or ask for money  asl follows.

Click on "Host" and then "Yor reservations".

Then find the reservation concerned and click on "Send or Request money".

You can then click on "Send money" and follow the instructions from there.

The guest will need to accept the offer for it to be processed.

Overly generous I would say, how much did your guest use in Electricity, Gas and Water, and any food & beverages you may have provided, I think you could calculate this and allow him these cost for free, I think 50% because of internet outage is ridiculous.

That is my honest opinion.
