Hi!
I have been trawling the forums for a solution to a problem I have encountered at least twice since I started with Airbnb..Namely that a guest wanted to reserve two or more non consecutive days on one booking. I'm not familiar with the charging system, but the guest seems to believe they would be charged extra if they made two separate bookings (apart from the obvious inconvenience of not being able to book two or more weekends, for example, in one go)
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Information on getting hold of Airbnb seems a bit of a performane!
Thanks.. Omar
I have the same problem, am trying to select a place for mon, tuesday, wednesdays only, for 2 months. The host says I need to do it from my side. But I can only select the entire 2 months. I dont want to check in and out every week and pay multiple fees!
My advice as a super host, forget those types of bookings. They have an adverse effect on your overall Airbnb business; they interfere with the natural stay patterns. Believe me I’ve been through this and I tried everything to please everybody haha. All you need is good reviews, good pricing, flexible attitude... and resist the temptation for the easy buck; it doesn’t exist. [see my other suggestions for similar issue]
Going to add a vote up on this thread. I regularly run into guests needing this as it is a royal pain to do 10 reservations over a few month period. It would make more sense for a guest to select multiple date blocks and keep everything on one reservation.
Believe me, 8 good reviews from 8 short stay guests has a bigger positive impact on your Airbnb business than one (1) review from a long term multiple stay guest who has discovered many little problems haha!
I agree 💯 percent! I’ve raised this with Airbnb several times.. it’s not rocket science! Should be easy enough to implement.
Anyone got a solution? I need to do this for business trip over two months.
