accept/decline button not working

I can't send an Accept message to an enquirer because the Accept/Decline button on the site does not seem to be responding - I can only send a message saying I accept, but this doesn't count as a proper acceptance. I've turned on Instant Book hoping the enquirer will use it to overcome this problem. Thanks.

I tried the method, but it did not work for me.

I had the same problem. Tried all the usual stuff. Finally got it to work when I navigated from dashboard and declined the reservation from there. Then went in and blocked the dates manually to match the VRBO calendar. I am using chrome on a Lenovo machine with windows 2013. Tried rejecting it by text and on the phone app that didn't work either. Good luck with this workaround!

Scratch that....I thought it worked but when I log back in....the booking request is still there. I emailed the guest and asked him to book something else. Hope he does that and the issue is kinda solved!

yes I am experiencing it and it is affecting my statistics

I'm having the same problem. As a new host, this is not good, especially since the date is just a few days away from now. I've logged out and tried again with the same result.

yes - I lost a reservation tonight, held on to another but only by discounting the rate. I struggled for 2 hours with it - the guests run out of patience when they can't get a proper confirmation. I finally got it to accept by typing ACCEPT on my i phone. Good luck - hope that helps!

I am having the same issue - the accept button is not working.  When I press it it grays out but does nothing.  I am having the same issue when I try to accept using the app on my iphone.  It is impacting my statistics.  Frustrated that there is nowhere to report this error to AirBnB. 

 

Is anyone else experiencing this right now?  June 21 2016 (7:45pm Pacific US)

Hey all. I had the same problem- no result pushing the decline button.

 

I opened up the app on my phone and that worked fine.

I'm having the same problem. I'm unable to decline an offer via the website. The mobile version seems to work (just tried that). That really needs fixing in the internet version.

Welcome to the Community Center. I am sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties with this. 

 

As this thread is from some time ago now, it is likely to be something seperate to the earlier reports here. As it is only happening on desktop, have you tried it on another browser and/or tried clearing your cache? I have found this work for me in the past.

Hi, My accept/ decline button is also not working, same problem described by everyone else on this thread. It has been like this for at least three days now. Please let me know how I can resolve it/ who I can contact about it.

 

I tried blocking out the dates and snoozing my listing without luck

I also cannot seem to decline the reservation (and I have only 5 hours left to do so). I clicked decline and it then asked if I'm sure. That's when I could not confirm that I'm sure. It's like a dead button. 😞

I also cannot decline a reservation, I have experienced exactly the same problem as described by Faith above. Airbnb - any help would be gratefully received!

Hi! I've had the same problem but I've found out that it works on Airbnb mobile app. So try to accept/decline it there. 🙂
